So true and I DO recall following Punk and Danielson back then. In fact, most of the talk was on Samoa Joe over either of those two by a slim margin and its eerie and sad how that has turned out.
I call this “Ode to Nigel”. The whole match was like a tribute to the old ROH style, such perfection.

Since Extreme Rules, the E has seemingly tried their hardest to kill off all momentum from their 12 months previous. It really sucks to see a lot of the hard work go down the pan because of bad booking and some lazy writing.
